Peni Mounga was born in Kailua, Hawaii and raised in Kearns, Utah.  He transferred from Snow College to Northern State University to pursue his education and complete his football eligibility.  Peni graduated from NSU with a Secondary Education degree in Social Sciences and a masters degree in Guidance and Counseling.  He is happily married to Connie and they have a son and two daughters, Mushu, Jade and Amiotonu.

Lin Lin was born and raised in Beijing, China and graduated from Capital Normal University in Beijing with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature in July 2007. She was an international exchange student at Northern State University from January to December in 2006, the founder and the president of the Chinese Student Association at Northern and RA in Jerde Hall. Lin is happy to be back at Northern for her Master’s Degree in counseling, and she is very glad to work in Multicultural Student Affairs as a graduate assistant and a resident assistant in Jerde Hall. She is also a member of American Counseling Association. Activities involved in:  Volunteered in Moab, Utah for Spring Break 2006, 2006 Tri-College New Leadership Council at North Dakota State University, Opinion Columnist and Photographer for The Exponent--campus newspaper, Diversity Leadership Council at Northern, Leadership Advisor and support of the Chinese Student Association, Northern Counseling Club member.

                                           

 Tiffany Baker is a Hunkpapa Lakota from Wakpala S.D.  She grew up in the Wakpala and Kenel area of Standing Rock.  She was raised by her mom, dad and her uncle, Gregory with the traditional Lakota values and is also a descendant of chief Mad Bear. In 2003 she graduated from Wakpala High School  and is now pursuing a degree in Guidance and Counseling here at Northern.  Tiffany is the current Native American Student Association president.  She also has a daughter named Aceanna who attends "school" at the NSU Daycare.
