Dr. Robert Vodnoy holds a BM
summa cum laude and an MM in
composition from the University
of Hartford. His DMUS in
Conducting is from Indiana
University. He also studied with
Charles Bruck at the Monteux
Center for Conductors and
Orchestral Training. Vodnoy has
guest conducted numerous
orchestras, including the
Bellevue Philharmonic,
Mississippi Symphony, Orchestra
of the Colorado Music Festival,
Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra,
Czech National Symphony,
National Philharmonic of Taiwan,
and the Seoul Philharmonic. In
2001, he led the American
International Youth Orchestra on
a tour of China. He was Music
Director of the Southwest
Michigan Symphony and the
Northwest Indiana Symphony and
an adjunct professor of music at
Valparaiso University. He
continues as Music Director of
the Whiting Park Festival
Orchestra. |
