COLLEGIATE CHOIR

The NSU collegiate choir is comprised of approximately 130 members and performs repertoire from the renaissance to today. The choir rehearses three hours per week and performs in wonderful acoustic spaces on and off campus. In addition, the choir tours each fall.

Formal attire is required for concert and tour performances. Tuxedos are available for check-out from the music department. Men are required to purchase a formal tuxedo shirt and tie. Women are required to purchase a formal black dress from the Fine Arts office.

Interested performers audition with Dr. Woods at the beginning of the semester. Skills necessary to succeed in choir include enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard.
