Lesson Objectives:

The students will be able to:
-Understand the need of adding and subtraction skills. (Intrapersonal Intelligence) -Use problem solving skills (Logical Mathematical Intelligence) -Use reasoning and communication skills. (Interpersonal Intelligence) -Understand numbers and number relationships At the end of the lesson the students will be able to: -Balance a checkbook without getting an overdraft. -Manage a monthly salary -Identify the amount of money they will have to make monthly payments. -Write a paragraph about their ability to choose expenses that fit their families.
