NSU Marching Wolves to Present Indoor Concert

(ABERDEEN, SD) The Northern State University Marching Wolves will present an indoor band concert on Thursday, Nov. 3 in the Barnett Center on the NSU campus. Admission for the concert is $10 and tickets are available at EconoFoods, Ken's SuperFair Foods, Kessler's and the NSU Foundation. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Currently the NSU Marching Wolves are under the direction of Dr. Boyd Perkins with assistants Dr. Grant Manhart, Frederic Hemke, and James Panerio.

As an added bonus concert goers will be entertained by performances from the Sioux Falls Lincoln Drum Line, under the direction of Pete Hanson and Craig Spangler, and the Aberdeen Central Drum Line under the direction of James Panerio.

"The drum lines will perform their own routines and then all three drum lines will combine with the Marching Wolves to for a giant percussion feature," said Perkins. "The Lincoln Drum Line has established themselves as one of the top high school drum lines in the United States. It will be a great experience for everyone to watch them perform."

The Indoor Marching Band concert is a fundraiser for The NSU Marching Wolves who will represent South Dakota at the 2006 commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii in November of 2006.
