NSU German Professor Elected President of SDWLA

(Aberdeen, S.D) Virginia Lewis, Assistant Professor of German, was elected President of the South Dakota World Languages Association (SDWLA) at their annual conference in October. Her two-year term will begin in January 2008.
The SDWLA is a state organization that provides advocacy for language learning and instruction throughout South Dakota and puts on an annual conference for state language educators, hosts a resource Web site and Listserve for those interested in language learning, and rewards excellence in the field.
