NSU Hosts Impact ‘08

(ABERDEEN, S.D.) NSU is hosting an art exhibit featuring pieces done by college and university students from Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The pieces consist of different mediums including sculpture, paintings and drawings as well as a few video works. The Impact art exhibit is an opportunity for students to not only show their works, but to increase awareness of the arts in the Midwest.
The exhibit will be juried by artist James Johnson. He has exhibited works nationally at the Walker Art Museum, Minnesota, National Gallery of Art, the Fort Worth Art Center and many others around the country. He currently lives near Hecla, S.D.
The show will be displayed in the Graham art gallery in room 212,
and runs from March 31 through April 25. The public is welcomed
to view this exhibit.
