German Class to Host Round Table Discussion
Released April 21, 2008
(ABERDEEN, SD) NSU’s German 492 class will host a special community round table discussion in the Beulah Williams Library Round Room on Thu, Apr. 24, at 7 p.m. The round table discussion will focus on what it means to be German in the wake of World War II and the Holocaust.
“We seek as much community, student and staff input as possible,” said Virginia Lewis, Assistant Professor of German.
The students will present some of their research projects during
the first half hour, and then open things up for discussion after
that where the students can share what they’ve learned and
the views they’ve developed with the Aberdeen community, where
so many individuals have connections to German identity, World War
II, and the Holocaust. Refreshments will be provided.
