2nd Annual Artapalooza Scheduled at NSU

(ABERDEEN, SD) Please join the Northern State University Art Department for the 2nd Annual Artapalooza Festival on Fri, May 2, fro 6-9 p.m. Artapalooza is celebration of art, culture and music. The event location is the grassy area between Spafford Hall and the Johnson Fine Arts Center. If there is poor weather, the event will be held in the Dacotah Hall gymnasium.
Some of the activities included in this years’ event are tie-dying (bring a cotton t-shirt), ceramics demonstrations, beading, rope-making, caricatures and a sidewalk chalk contest. There will also be performances by several of the NSU multicultural groups and some local bands. In addition to the activities, there will be NSU student art for sale and on display.
Artapalooza is free and open to the community. Families and children are welcome.
