NSU partners with American Association of University Women
ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University and the American Association
of University Women (AAUW) will offer the opportunity for full-time undergraduate students to become national e-student affiliates of AAUW at no cost to students.
 
 
Since 1881, AAUW has been breaking through barriers so that all women have equal rights. AAUW is a nationwide community of more than 100,000 members and donors; 1,000 branches; and 500 college and university partners. AAUW speaks out on issues such as education, pay equity, civil rights, reproductive rights, affirmative action and sex discrimination.
 
 
The NSU/AAUW partnership program will be at the Student Activities Fair Sept. 25 on the NSU campus green. The AAUW also will host a book sale Oct. 11-12 at the Super City Mall (7 a.m.- 9 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday). All proceeds are used to fund scholarships.
