ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University faculty and students are visiting businesses in eastern South Dakota and attending an entrepreneurship conference this week.
On Wednesday, 14 NSU business students visited businesses in Watertown and Brookings, including touring Daktronics. The students were accompanied by Northern’s Kristi Bockorny, instructor of business, and Hannah Walters, instructor of management and marketing.
Today, the group, along with NSU School of Business Director Mark Olchefske, is attending the 2013 Launch: South Dakota Entrepreneurship Education Conference. This event, which aims to advance entrepreneurship education, is for students, educators, and economic development and community leaders. It is taking place at South Dakota State University in Brookings.
