ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University Multi-Cultural Student Affairs will host the annual "Flavaz of NSU" community meal Friday, April 19, on the Gerber Green.
Flavaz of NSU will feature specially prepared meals by various student organizations, professors and staff members. The groups participating include:
• Native American Student Association
• Kramer Hall
• McArthur-Welsh Hall
• Jerde Hall
• Women's Club
• Honors Program
• Polynesian Club
• Korean Student Association
• Black Student Union
Individuals include Tiffany Baker, William Deng, Ka'Nova Williams, Mina Thao and Dr. Teresa Stallings.
This year's event, which will also include live music, is combined with NSU's Residence Life Block Party and the Courtney Campout. The meal, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m., followed by the campout at 9 p.m. and the block party at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 20. The campout and block party will be on the Kramer/McWelsh Green.
