ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University Speech and Debate Team will host the annual South Dakota Intercollegiate Forensics Association/North Dakota Intercollegiate Speech League forensics tournaments Friday and Saturday, Feb. 15 and 16.
This competition, which is open to the public, combines the state tournaments of South Dakota and North Dakota. Teams from NSU, South Dakota State University, Black Hills State University, South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and North Dakota State University will attend.
The tournament will be run out of the Mewaldt-Jensen Building/Technology Center on the NSU campus. Debate rounds will begin at 4 p.m. Friday. On Saturday, debate rounds and individual events will start at 8 a.m.
