Kamletz had a distinguished career as an elementary school teacher and was named the North Dakota State Teacher of the Year. She also wrote a book about her experiences in teaching, titled, “But I Don’t Want To Go To College.” Her book contains numerous useful tips and tricks for teaching, along with funny stories from the classroom.

Her NSU visit is being coordinated by Kaci Maier, president of Northern’s chapter of the Association for the Education of Young Children. Her presentation will include a question-and-answer session.
