ABERDEEN, S.D. – People hoping to dig into the history of Northern State University have a tremendous online resource made available by Williams Library.
Through the NSU digital project, the library is working to convert Pasque yearbooks and Exponent newspapers into electronic files available to the public for free. Pasques dating back to 1910 and Exponents dating back to 1909, as well as various photographs, can be found online at http://digitalcollections.northern.edu/cdm/search/collection/nimages
The yearbooks are almost all scanned in, with just the last few left to get up on the site, said Shari Theroux, Williams Library systems librarian/interlibrary loan. Pasques were produced until 2001.
Exponents through December 1932 are up on the site, Theroux said. Adding the rest will likely take until early next year.
