Tickets to NSU marching band concert now half price

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Tickets are still available for the Northern State University Marching Wolves Indoor Marching Band Concert – and they are now half price for adults.

Tickets now cost $10, or $5 for children under 12. There is no charge for NSU students.

The public is invited to the concert, which will be 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, in the NSU Johnson Fine Arts Center.  The event will raise funds for the marching band’s trip to perform in the 57th annual Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington, D.C., on Monday, Jan. 21.

The band is among more than 50 organizations invited to participate out of more than 2,800 applicants, according to the official parade website, http://2013pic.org/about/parade. This is the second time the NSU band has been selected for such an honor – the Marching Wolves also performed in the 2005 Inaugural Parade.

Tickets for the Jan. 12 concert are available at Ken's SuperFair Foods, Kessler's, Engel Music and the NSU Fine Arts department.

If you can’t make the concert but would like to make a donation, contact the NSU Foundation by calling 605-626-2550 or emailing michael.bockorny@northern.edu.
