NSU student’s senior art exhibition will be Nov. 12-23
ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University student
Elizabeth Nehlich will have her senior art exhibition Nov. 12-23 in the Student Center Gallery.

A reception for the exhibition, titled “Repetition,” will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, in the Student Center Gallery. All are welcome.

Nehlich grew up in Aberdeen, graduating from Aberdeen Central High School in 2009. She is the daughter of Scott and Karen Nehlich of Aberdeen. Nehlich is an art major with a specialization in fine arts.

Nehlich said she enjoys painting and drawing the most, but she also likes to experiment in mixed media.

She said she chose Northern because she feels it has the best fine arts program in South Dakota. That - combined with the fact that tuition was extremely affordable - made it the best choice for her, she said.

Nehlich will graduate in December. Her future plans include obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees. She would like to curate her own gallery one day.
