ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University will host a Sanford Community Lecture Series seminar at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12.
The seminar, which is free and open to the public, is titled “Back to Basics: The Role of Basic Research in a Clinical World.” Dr. Peter Vitiello, associate scientist at Sanford Research/USD, will speak via simulcast in Northern’s Mewaldt-Jensen Room 144. Attendees are asked to enter the building’s southeast door.
The Sanford Community Lecture Series is a monthly seminar series designed to inform community members about research initiatives "in their own back yard." This is the third year that NSU has streamed this series live in Aberdeen. Seminars will continue monthly through spring 2014, with topics ranging from mitochondrial diseases to meteorological science.
