NSU partners with museum for photo exhibit

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University, in partnership with the Dacotah Prairie Museum, will present a two-part exhibit entitled “Aberdeen in Pictures: Then and Now.”

This exhibit will include photographs from the university and museum archives depicting various locations in Aberdeen from long ago, coupled with recently taken photographs showing the same area and the changes that have taken place over time.

On display at the Dacotah Prairie Museum will be photographs from downtown Aberdeen. Northern’s Williams Library will display photographs of campus locations and buildings.

The exhibit will open April 1 and run through May 30. This exhibit was created in conjunction with the Aberdeen Area History Project, funded by a grant from the Knight Foundation.
Please call the museum at 605-626-7117 or the library at 605-626-2494 with questions.
