ABERDEEN, S.D.  Northern State University senior Breanna Marzahn will hold her senior art exhibition reception 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Nov. 20 in the President’s Gallery in Spafford Hall.

Marzahn, daughter of Wade and Renee Marzahn, is an art education major originally from Groton, S.D., and graduated in 2015 from Groton High School. Her senior art exhibition will be open from Nov 19 to Nov. 30, and showcase her many paintings.

“I choose to attend Northern because I wanted to go to a small college where students get more one on one with the professors,” said Marzahn. “Northern also offered the degree I was seeking. I wanted to be closer to home as well since I have younger siblings who are involved in sports and other activities.”

Marzahn will graduate from NSU in May 2019 and hopes to find a position teaching art, as well as to continue creating artwork on the side.
