ABERDEEN, S.D. (July 31, 2017) Northern State University and Aberdeen Development Corporation will hold an event announcing their partnership and the relocation of the Center for Creativity and Entrepreneurship.

The event will take place at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, at The Workshop, 208 S. Main St., the new home of the Center for Creativity and Entrepreneurship.

The Center now serves as a space for NSU students to work on academic or entrepreneurial projects. The partnership provides a way for Northern students to get involved with the community and with local entrepreneurs in downtown Aberdeen.

“This is a win-win partnership,” said NSU President Dr. Timothy Downs. “Northern students will gain better access to resources and entrepreneurial concepts through The Workshop, and with more of our students downtown, they will contribute to building a vibrant community for the Aberdeen region.”

For more information, contact The Workshop at 605-725-9675 or laurenbittner@adcsd.com.
