ABERDEEN, S.D. – Several Northern State University School of Business faculty members and students will attend the Center for Excellence in International Business’ 24th annual Conference on International Business, Contemporary Issues in Business and Sports Business in Rapid City on Oct. 3-6.
This event serves as an opportunity for faculty and students to present their research on contemporary issues in business and teaching business.
Over 50 attendees from the US and several foreign countries will be represented at the conference. South Dakota Secretary of Agriculture Mike Jaspers is the keynote speaker for the this event. Badlands National Park Superintendent Mike Pflaum will also speak at the conference.
NSU faculty attending include Dr. Timothy Mantz, dean of the School of Business; Dr. Allen Barclay, assistant professor of management and marketing; Dr. Kristi Bockorny, assistant professor of management; Michelle Lesnar, instructor of economics and finance; Dr. Keun Lee, professor of economics and finance; Dr. John Peterson, associate professor of finance; Dr. Greg DePies, Confucius Institute director; Yan Chen, Confucius Institute associate director; Dr. Amber Mathern, assistant professor of marketing and management; Dr. Juan Gonzalez, associate professor of Spanish, Dr. Thomas Orr, assistant professor of health and physical education; and Nathan Roberts, CEIBE and study abroad coordinator.
