Wolves Memorial Suites

ABERDEEN, S.D. (July 26, 2017)  The public is welcome at an upcoming open house at Northern State University’s newest residence hall.

The open house for Wolves Memorial Suites will be held 4:30-6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at the residence hall, located near South Washington Street and 12th Avenue Southeast. NSU Residence Life staff will offer guided tours of the facility, which will open for fall semester.

The 144-bed Wolves Memorial Suites features a variety of suite-style options, including 14 two-bedroom suites, 10 one-bedroom suites and 17 two-bedroom semi-suites.

It is the first of three new residence halls planned at NSU. The other two – one located south of the Mewaldt-Jensen Building and the other at the site of the former Lindberg Hall – are scheduled to be completed by July 2018.

The three new halls will offer a total of almost 450 new beds on campus. That means by fall 2018, it’s anticipated that over half of NSU’s residence hall occupants will live in new facilities.
