A student-led organization that promotes student engagement through the coordination and implementation of programs and special events throughout the academic year.
Looking to get involved on campus? There is something for everyone, with more than 60 clubs and organizations in many categories: academic, arts and science, business, education, fine arts, cultural, service, religious, and recreational. Don’t see the right fit for you? Start your own!
Each October, maroon and gold fever takes over the campus and community of Aberdeen during Northern State University’s annual homecoming celebration, Gypsy Days.
A variety of intramural sports offer a way for Northern students to stay active with through friendly, sporting competition. A variety of fitness classes also is available.
Welcome Week is designed to help new students feel at home at Northern. We've designed a comprehensive schedule of activities to forge your new connection to campus, other students, and the community.
Families: Come back to campus and connect with your students! Family Weekend is a chance for families to take advantage of the diverse programing on Northern's campus - from CultureFest to a home football game.
For those interested in a leadership position or those who have been involved before, our goal is to provide you options to grow in your leadership knowledge and style. Through various programs and workshops, Northern will help you learn more about your leadership abilities.
