            Dr. Timothy Houge, Assistant Professor

Dr. Timothy Houge he serves Northern State University as an assistant professor as well as the reading clinic director.  Dr. Houge obtained his Ed.D. and M.Ed. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His B.S. Elementary Education/Reading was earned from Valley City State University in Valley City, N.D.

Dr. Houge's fifteen years of professional experience began as a second grade classroom teacher in the Wichita School District at Gardiner Elementary School in Wichita, Kansas. He then began teaching in Clark County School District as a second grade teacher at Robert Lunt Elementary School and a first grade teacher at John F. Mendoza Elementary School. Finally, Dr. Houge served as reading specialist at William E. Ferron Elementary School while residing in Las Vegas, Nevada.
