| Lesson Summary | "Butterfly Life Cycle" is a lesson for kindergartners, first, or second graders that will teach the four stages of the life cycle of a butterfly. The students will listen to the book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. The students will browse a pre-loaded Internet site showing the four stages. The students will print the four coloring pages, each portraying one stage of the butterfly's life cycle. They will decorate each printed page and sequence each stage correctly by gluing them onto a large piece of construction paper. |
