| Lesson Summary |
After discussing the
writing of the constitution, the students learn about the Preamble and
Bill of Rights. This lesson involves the students learning the first
10 amendments and then locating information relating to the implementation
of each amendment to put into a booklet. |

Upon completion of instruction, the students
will have:

Created a booklet about the Bill of Rights.

Listed and located sites from the Internet for examples
for each amendment.

of contents, examples, good sentence structure, and bibliography containing
site addresses.

at the teacher's judgment. |

| Procedural Activities |

Teach the Bill of Rights.

Provide students with a list of sites where examples
might be found. Allow more than one computer lab time for this.

Ask the students to find an example relating to each
amendment.

Ask the students to create a booklet using word processing
in which each amendment and example is explained.
