Students of Social Sciences
Purpose: To promote camaraderie
among students with an interest in Sociology, Criminal Justice,
Human Services, Gerontology, or Political Science as well as
promote ideas and knowledge between the disciplines.
Over the past few years, Students of
Social Sciences (SSS) has engaged in the following service
activities: food and clothing drives, bell ringing for
Salvation Army, serving meals at Salvation Army, bringing a
regionally-known expert on gangs to campus to speak about gang
activity, helping with animals at the Human Society, assisting
with a holiday party for the children of deployed service men
and women, and delivering meals to the elderly.
We always welcome new members from
any major.
