Student Athletic Advisory Committee

Purpose of Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to have student representatives from each sport meet to discuss current legislative issues that involve  Division II & the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. We also help student athletes and their teams get involved in the community through community service opportunities. Representatives will then take issues discussed back to teams and inform all student-athletes on campus.

Annually Sponsored Events: annual Make-A-Wish Foundation Fundraiser, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, make a NSU t-shirt annually for fundraiser, encourage school spirit. NSU Student Athlete Day of Champions.

Meetings: First Monday of each month @ 8 or 8:30 pm in BC classrooms

Membership Requirements:

• Student athlete
• Fill out application
• Must be regarded as team leader or good role model on individual's team

Term of Officers: annually voted
