Student Veterans Resource Center

Veterans and active military members have their own space at NSU in Student Center 206.
It's staffed by a part-time student, usually available on weekday afternoons to answer questions about VA benefits, tuition assistance, navigating campus and NSU's services.
The center offers:
Comfortable seating
Two computers
CAC reader
Quiet work space
The center also is home to the NSU Veterans' Organization meetings, movie and game nights, annual Christmas party and fall benefits orientation.
Northern serves and supports active military and veteran students and their dependents seeking an education here. We'll support your success as a student while recognizing your unique needs and interests related to your military connections.
If you're a new or returning student, please notify Northern of your military status - whether that be veteran, reserve, active duty, or family member/dependent.
For assistance and answers:
  • Email; call 605-626-7692; see the certifying official in Dacotah Hall 103; or stop by Student Center 206; or visit the Veterans' Services page on myNSU.
