Our Mission

The mission of Northern State University’s University College is to create a community of learners by providing all new students with the assistance they need to be successful. The University College welcomes students to the university through the University Success course where students learn about the skills they need and the resources the university can provide. The University College supports students with consistent, high quality advising, learning communities and academic support services. The University College challenges students to overcome barriers with the academic programming we offer and through Northern’s TRiO Grants.
