Three easy steps:
1. Play a
C Major Cadence Pattern
. It is easy to remember—all white keys.
2. Change the 1st triad to minor—lower the middle note. This will also be your 3rd triad and 5th triad.
3. Change the 2nd triad to minor—lower the top note.
Now you know all of the chords because the 4th chord is the same in both major and minor.
Play the c minor cadence pattern several times.
The fingering for all major and
minor cadence patterns is the same:
The
F Major Cadence Pattern
and
G Major Cadence Pattern
are also fairly easy to remember.
Follow the same 3 steps to play the f and g minor cadence patterns.
