You will be asked to write four pitches in the treble, bass, alto and tenor clefs. You can earn an A+ if you write those notes in an additional clef; e.g. soprano, mezzo soprano, baritone, french violin or sub-bass; and everything is correct.

The following errors are equal to one wrong note:
  • consecutive notes an octave too high or too low
  • consecutive notes shifted one line or one space
  • incorrect clef name
One note an octave too high or too low = ½ wrong note

3 points off for overlooking an accidental

A+ only if the notation is correct.
