Rhythm Dictations
Take out a pencil and any sheet of paper. Click on the number of a dictation to hear it. You will hear a short rhythm followed by exactly enough silence for you to tap it at the same tempo. You will then hear the rhythm again. Transcribe the rhythm and note the number of times you listened to the example.
Level 1: The 2-bar dictations in common time use only eighth, quarter, dotted quarter and half notes. The 2-bar examples in six eight time use only the following five "chunks":

Level 2: The examples in common time use sixteenth, eighth, quarter, dotted quarter and half notes. The examples in six eight are slightly faster than and use the same "chunks" as the Level 1 Rhythm Dictations, but are four measures long.
