LOAD-IN AREA

Shows are loaded through the Scene Shop (36'x60') located
directly behind the stage. There are two 9'-9" x 15'-9" loading
doors between the stage and the shop. Because of the width
of the alley behind the theatre (33') a 40' semi-trailer can
NOT back up to our loading dock. The loading dock is 42" above
        the level of the roadway.

A show can also be loaded through the "stage door" on the
north east side of the building. A 40' semi-trailer can back
up to this entrance. If this entrance is used, the trailer will
need to be moved to the north side of the building after the
production has been loaded into the theatre.

There are no rehearsal rooms in the Johnson Center. In the past,
both the Theatre classroom (JC129, 21' x 30') and the Choir
room (JC125, 42' x 60') have been used for rehearsal and
warm-ups. Both rooms have a tile on concrete floor.

CREWS...
The Johnson Center is a non-union house. Crews are predominately
        trained students.

A member of the JFAC Technical Staff must be present any time
        the facility is in use.

HANDICAP ACCESS...
JFAC is handicap accessable. The auditorium is wheelchair
accessable through both front-of-house (southeast and southwest)
entrances. The back stage area is accessable through the
northwest entrance. There is a wheelchair lift in the east
hallway joining the auditorium area with the backstage area.

POLICIES...
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Center.

No food or drink is allowed in the Auditorium or Light booth.

Persons under the influence of alcohol or other drugs will
not be permitted to work back stage.

Damages to the premises, equipment or properties of the
Johnson Fine Arts Center, caused by a member of the
company's staff will be paid for by the company.
