Lighting SoftWare
In 1993 I developed an interest in computer programming. I began by writing a couple of short light calculation programs in BASIC which I later rewrote in C, compiled, and included in the LiteCalc package. I have also written several small utilities which I use in determining grades for my large Introduction to Theatre classes.
The BASIC Programs: Source code for two light calculation programs: BEAMDIA.BAS and ALITE.BAS.
LiteCalc: A DOS (non Windows) program which calculates Field Diameter, Beam Diameter, and Intensity for a variety of standard theatrical lighting instruments.
GelFind: a DOS (non Windows) program which will locate a close matching color to any gel listed in the program's database.
