Off-Campus Access - Logging In to the Proxy Server
Off-campus access
to this electronic resource is limited to faculty, staff, and registered
students of Northern State University as specified by the licensing
agreement. You can access this resource off campus by logging in to the
library's proxy server.
Accessing
Electronic Resources Off Campus
Enter the 14-digit
barcode number that appears on the back of your NSU ID card in the field
below, then click Submit Query to access the electronic resource via
the library's proxy server.
If you are on campus and
receive this message, please email your IP address to the
reference
desk. See below for instructions on
finding your IP address.
Finding Your IP Address

Click on the Start button
in the lower left corner of the bottom taskbar.

Select
Programs.

Select
Accessories; select Command Prompt from the Accessories menu.
The Command Prompt window appears.

At the command prompt
C:>,
type ipconfig and press <Enter>.

Your IP address, a
series of four numbers separated by periods, appears.

Click the X in the upper right corner of the
window to exit the Command Prompt window.
