NSU Facilities Manager Monte Mehlhoff has issued a Regional Science Education Center construction update.

SOUTH WING

Plumbers are installing piping on both levels.

Electrical pipe installation is ongoing on both levels.

Electricians are installing panels and the transformer in electrical rooms.

Workers continue to assemble and install HVAC ductwork on both levels and have begun VAV box installation.

Workers also are wrapping pipes and ductwork.

The sprinkler contractor is installing pipe.

Drywallers are taping and installing sheetrock on both levels.

Masons, having finished bricklaying on the west side, are now cleaning it.

ELSEWHERE

Plumbers are roughing in in the north wing.

Workers continue framing on both levels of the north wing and on the courtyard canopy parapet/fascia.

Carpenters are installing in wall backing and window blocking on the exterior.

The window contractor is installing frames on the building's west side.
