NSU Facilities Manager Monte Mehlhoff has issued a comprehensive campus construction update.

JFAC
The Johnson Fine Arts Center bathroom remodeling will be complete by Aug. 15 and open before school starts.

Krikac
Concrete work around Krikac is wrapping up; yet to be installed is hand railing for the new ramp.

Student Center
Student Center roof work will begin July 29 and is expected to be complete by Aug. 15.

Barnett Center
Starting Aug. 15, Barnett Center racquetball courts will be remodeled into athletic offices.

Work on the new wood court and hoops continues. Installation of retractable hoops begins July 29 and is expected to take about two weeks.

The pool heating and cooling system upgrade continues, with an anticipated end date of Sept. 15.

Campus Concrete
Multiple concrete repairs have been made on campus and are winding down for the summer.

Herret Street Parking Lot
Work is progressing on a new parking lot at Herret street and 15th Avenue. This lot should be complete before schools starts.

Campus Power
Notice to proceed has been issued for Muth Electric to install a campus backup power transformer in August.

Regional Science Center

• Concrete sidewalk work continues
• Asphalt patch has been done
• Exterior work is wrapping up
• Interior finish painting continues
• Back-painted glass is being installed in the lobby
• Electricians and plumbers are doing final trim-out work
• Most of the carpet has been installed
• Furniture placement and final cleaning are under way
