Facilities Manager Monte Mehlhoff has issued a campus construction update.
Regional Science Center
South Wing
- Floor polishing continues on the second floor corridor
- Painters are working on both levels
North Wing
- Masons continue to lay brick
- Glass is being installed in the windows on the south side
- Transition membrane and spray foam application continue
- Exterior metal wall panels are being installed on the east side of the building
- Drywallers are sheetrocking second-floor restrooms
Throughout the Building
- Tapers are working in the corridors on first and second floors south and taping on both levels of the north wing
- Plumbers are doing rough-ins in the first-floor restrooms, hooking up VAVs and running heating lines
- The HVAC contractor continues installing ductwork on both levels of the south wing and on second floor north
- Pipe and duct insulators continue to work in various areas of the building
- Electricians are building rough-ins at the north wing, pulling wire and installing piping for lights
- The controls contractors are building rough-ins in various areas of the building
Krikac and north campus pillars
Work is set to begin May 15.
