NSU Facilities Manager Monte Mehlhoff has issued a science center construction summary as part of this week's campus construction update.

Executive Construction Summary
Ongoing work in the south wing:
- First-floor polishing
- Window and first-floor interior "storefront" installation
- First-floor restroom rough-ins
- First-floor heating main and VAV installation
- Pipe insulation
- Electrical wire pulling
- HVAC ductwork and VAV installation on both floors
- Painting
- Controls rough-ins
Ongoing work in the north wing:
- Spray foam installation
- Bricklaying on the south and west walls
- Wall framing on both floors
- Sheetrock hanging on second-floor pods and north wing
- First-floor restroom rough-ins
- First-floor electrical rough-ins
- HVAC ductwork and VAV installation on second floor
- Controls rough-ins
Exterior:
Workers have begun installing exterior metal wall panels on the
west side.

Work is set to begin May 15.
