Five Northern State University alumni and one Wolves team will be honored at this year’s NSU Hall of Fame Banquet. The banquet, part of Gypsy Days, will take place at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at the Dakota Event Center. Cost is $25 for adults and $10 for children. Each year, the NSU Alumni Association selects a Kretchman Coaching Award winner and also inducts former Wolves athletes into the NSU Hall of Fame.
Alumni and friends are invited to the Gypsy Day tailgate beginning at 11 a.m. in Ken's SuperFair Foods Tailgate Lot at the south end of Swisher Field. The Alumni Association is hosting an alumni and friends tailgate sponsored by Jimmy John's and RDO Equipment starting at noon. The Gypsy Day football game will kick off at 2:30 p.m.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held to honor the completion of Wolves Memorial Suites at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29.

Enjoy the company of fellow fine arts alumni, tour the newly renovated JFAC and fine art spaces and meet the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Dr. Kenneth Boulton. The third annual Lamont-Rhodes Lecture will bring an expert in agricultural economics to the campus of Northern State University.
Dr. Michael Boehlje’s speech, presented by the NSU School of Business and Dacotah Bank, will take place on Thursday, April 6. The event begins with a brunch buffet at 7:30 a.m. in Dacotah Hall. Boehlje will speak at 8:30 a.m. in Krikac Auditorium.
Tickets are $20, or $125 per a group of 8.
