ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University’s new Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is looking forward to getting to know the campus community, working on academic program development and advocating for experiential learning.

Dr. Michael Wanous started last week at Northern and said his first goals include meeting people, learning how processes work and also learning more about the regental system.

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Renovations taking place at the Northern State University Barnett Center this summer will benefit Wolves athletic teams, enhance the experience of fans and provide a state-of-the-art space for the entire region.

The facility upgrades will also usher in a new era for Wolves Athletics – with the recent hire of head men’s basketball coach, Saul Phillips, and last year’s hiring of head women’s basketball coach, Paula Krueger.

NSU offers affordability, personal attention from dedicated faculty                                                                                                

Northern State University students, faculty and athletic teams came together on April 4-5 to lend a hand to Aberdeen's community in sand-bagging efforts to combat the recent local flooding due to snow melt.

After recent significant snowfalls, Northern State University needs to remove snow from parking lots on campus – and we need your help.

Students will be asked to move their vehicles from certain parking lots and Washington Street based on our snow removal schedule. Staff, faculty and visitors will also need to find alternative parking locations. Any vehicle not moved during scheduled times will be towed, at the owner’s expense, to an alternate campus lot.
