ABERDEEN, S.D. – Emily Fesler’s senior art exhibition will be on display in the Northern State University Spafford Hall Gallery from April 23 to May 4.

A reception for the exhibition will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 4 in the Spafford Hall Gallery.

Fesler grew up in Sioux Falls, graduating from Lincoln High School in 2011. She is the daughter of Matthew and Rebecca Fesler of Spring Hill, Tenn.

Displayed work in the exhibition includes animation, illustration and photography pieces. Most of Fesler’s works are macro photography shots.

Fesler is a multimedia design major. During her time at Northern, she has worked under art faculty members Greg Blair, Sara Christensen Blair, Nadya Preszler, Keum-Taek Jung and Gratia Brown.

Fesler will graduate from Northern in May. After graduation, she hopes to work for a local business and do her own freelance animation work.
