ABERDEEN — Northern State University has signed an exclusive agreement with Learfield Licensing Partners, a trademark management company specializing in collegiate licensing and branding, that allows Learfield to represent the university and its licensing program.

“We are excited to begin this agreement with Learfield. They’re a proven licensing partner for universities around the United States,” said Todd Jordre, president and CEO of the NSU Foundation. “Northern’s brand covers the Aberdeen region and beyond. This agreement allows us to expand our reach and establishes quality control measures for NSU merchandise.”

Learfield Licensing has been hired to help maximize exposure opportunities for NSU with aggressive retail merchandising and brand development, along with handling the day-to-day management duties of the university's trademark licensing program.
