ABERDEEN, S.D. – Artist Noelle Rasmussen’s “Pursuing Palestine” exhibition will be on display in the Northern State University Johnson Fine Arts Center Gallery April 4 to June 7.

Rasmussen lives within reach of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. She earned her B.S. in journalism from the University of Colorado and her M.A. in liberal studies (focusing in photography) at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, N.C. She has recently become a professional artist with a specialty in film photography. She has taught darkroom procedures for four years at Lenoir-Rhyne University as part of a combined digital and film class and is a visual arts assistant.

“I love sharing darkroom processes with others and combining idea and process to explore narrative,” said Rasmussen.
