Hunnicutt Law Group Scholarship

Deadline: Jan. 15, 2022

Summary: Applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate program for the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year. Requires online submission and essay. One $1,000 scholarship.

 

SDAEP Scholarship

Deadline: Jan. 15, 2022

Summary: Applicant should desire a career in a trade supportive to the protection and enhancement of our natural resources, environment, and/or related fields. Must be enrolled in and undergraduate program at a South Dakota University with a 2.0 GPA or higher. Requires three letters of reference and furnish a cover letter with content of required material.

 

$1,000 Essay Scholarship Program 

Deadline: Feb. 28, 2022

Summary: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Requires and online submission and 1,000-word essay. One $1,000 scholarship.

 

Rank-it.ca College Scholarship 2022

Deadline: March 1, 2022

Summary: Applicant must have an interest in consumer trends in the marketplace. Requires application and essay. One $500 scholarship.

 

Gilman-McCain Scholarship

Deadline: March 1, 2022 

Summary: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen in good standing pursing an undergraduate degree and be a dependent child of an active duty military member during time of application, receiving Title IV aid and applying or accepted for a study abroad or internship program. Requires creating an account and submitting an application online. Awardees receive $5,000.   

 

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship

Deadline: March 1, 2022 

Summary: Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, an undergraduate student in good standing, and receiving a Federal Pell Grant during term of his/her study abroad program/internship. Study abroad program must be at least four weeks in a single country where credit will be received at home institution, and must not be traveling to a country under a U.S. Department of State travel warning. Requires creating an account and submitting an application online. Recipients receive up to $5,000.   

 

Almowafir Scholarship Fund

Deadline: March 15, 2022

Summary: Applicant must be currently enrolled in a business school. Requires essay on why you are pursuing a business career and how you plan to use your degree for your community’s betterment. One $1,000 scholarship.

 

Cobell Scholarship

Deadline: March 31, 2022 

Summary: Applicant must be an enrolled member of a U.S. federally recognized tribe who is enrolled full time in a degree-seeking program, and demonstrates financial need. Scholarship awards and amounts vary. 

 

Exceptional Student Scholarship

Deadline: April 30, 2022

Summary: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a 3.0 or higher GPA. Requires one 1,000-word essay. One $2,000 scholarship.

 

Textbook Nova 2022 Scholarship

Deadline: Sept. 1, 2022

Summary: Applicant must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program during the 2021 academic year. Requires online submission and 1,000-word essay. One $1,000 scholarship.

 

Howard Memorial Scholarship

Deadline: The 2021-2022 application cycle for Howard Memorial Scholarships has closed. New applications will be available in early 2022.

Summary: Applicants for the Howard Memorial Scholarship must be residents of Brown County OR plan to attend Northern State University regardless of where they live. Requires application, page one of the federal income tax return, and a transcript. Scholarships up to $3,000 available.

 

SDSWMA Scholarship Application

Summary: Applicant must me a South Dakota resident planning to pursue a career supportive to the protection and enhancement of our natural resources and environment, the solid waste industry and/or related fields. Requires three letters of reference and furnish a cover letter with content of required material.

 

South Dakota Board of Regents Scholarships

South Dakota Opportunity Scholarship

Deadline: See website

Summary: Applicants must be South Dakota students who attended an eligible higher education institution in South Dakota. Requires composite ACT score of 24 or higher, a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and completion of the high school course requirements commonly known as the Regents Scholar curriculum. Guaranteed to all students who qualify, $6,500 over four years.
