ABERDEEN, S.D. – With the recent events concerning COVID-19 and social distancing, professors all over the nation have been teaching their previously in-person classes exclusively online. With this sudden migration, however, some classes have proven more challenging to adapt to an online format than others. In particular, many professors who teach courses based in the arts have had to get especially creative.
ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University is helping the community and region in any way it can during this time – including by housing emergency medical professionals who are fighting the COVID-19 virus.
Since early April, Northern has opened one of its residence halls, Wolves Memorial Suites, to staff of Aberdeen’s hospitals as well as Brown County emergency responder personnel, said NSU Director of Residence Life Marty Sabolo.
ABERDEEN, S.D. – In response to Gov. Kristi Noem’s Executive Order 2020-04, the South Dakota Board of Regents has determined all South Dakota public universities will transition spring classes online for the duration of the semester and postpone spring commencement ceremonies until further notice, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
