Strings

• The program must contain a single composition from an established period of classical music history (baroque, classical, romantic, impressionistic, contemporary.)  Transcriptions are allowed.
• Memorization is not required.
• Recommended performance range:  5 - 15 minutes.
• (Maximum performance time:  15 minutes).

Piano

• The program must contain a single composition from an established period of classical music history (baroque, classical, romantic, impressionistic, contemporary.)  Transcriptions are NOT allowed.
• Memorization is required for all repertoire.
• Concerto performances are NOT permitted.
• Compositions using extended techniques (i.e. introducing foreign objects into the workings of the piano to change the sound quality, strumming or plucking of strings) are not permitted.
• Recommended performance range:  5 - 15 minutes
• (Maximum performance time:  15 minutes).

Voice

• The program must contain two selections in contrasting styles.
• Memorization is required for all repertoire
• Recommended performance range:  5 - 10 minutes
• (MINIMUM performance time:  5 minutes).

Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion

• The program must contain a single composition from an established period of classical music history (baroque, classical, romantic, impressionistic, contemporary.)  Transcriptions are allowed.
• Memorization is not required.
• Recommended performance range:  5 - 15 minutes
• (Maximum performance time:  15 minutes).
