ABERDEEN, S.D. – Drs. Marla Fogderud and Anne Waltner will present a recital, “Songs Older and Newer: A Showcase of Edvard Grieg’s Romanser,” at Northern State University.

The recital featuring Fogderud, soprano, and Waltner, piano, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, in the NSU Harvey and Cynthia Jewett Theater.

The program, produced in cooperation with the Edvard Grieg Society of the Dakotas, features works from throughout the career of Norway’s most influential composer.

Fogderud is an Associate Professor of Music at NSU and Waltner is a freelance pianist from Parker, S.D. Their recital is free and open to the public.
